This page answers some frequently asked questions during the whole development workflow. If there is anything you could not find within the answer below, feel free to contact us.

Pre-Development: Evaluation, Planning & Architecture

  • These are the general workflow, while the exact workflow might be varied depending on your project type:

    1. Project needs evaluation and consultation
    2. We will provide you with a proposal with detail quotation and service agreement once both of us agreed with the features and scope of the project.
    3. Accept the proposal by sending us back the signed agreement, or discuss desired changes. Please note that changes to the scope of the project can be made anytime, but additional charges may apply.
    4. 50% initial payment of total project fee upon job confirmation
    5. We will then design your site template / layout structure for your feedback and approval
    6. Up to two round of design revision will be allowed
    7. Entire site building after design prototype approval
    8. 30% installment once functionality and design has been agreed upon
    9. Once the site is up and running, we will inform you to make final reviews and testing on development server
    10. 20% balance once the application has been tested and everyone agrees it is ready to go live.
    11. Website go live and running
    12. Free warranty/support for 30 days
  • Building a website or web application is like building a house. Cost varies greatly depending on the project’s features and their complexity. We are extremely flexible to meet your budget and needs. By telling us the best budget you can afford to set aside, we are able to work out the best solution that brings you maximum returns.

  • We used online tools such as e-mail, Skypes, Whatsapp, Slack to allow us to do business with virtually anyone, anytime, anywhere.

During Development

  • Whilst we like to be flexible and responsive to your needs, we also like to deliver what we promised within the time frames and budgets we have allowed.  If your new feature is something you would like to add to your website but is not directly tied to your original objectives then we will suggest to schedule it for a second iteration of the web project once it has been launched. This will require a new proposal.

  • We know from plenty of experience that fixed-price contracts are rarely beneficial to you, as they often limit you to your first idea about how something should look, or how it might work. We don’t want to limit either your options or your opportunities to change your mind.

    The estimate/quotation prices at the beginning are based on the amount of work we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you have told us you want to achieve. If you do want to change your mind, add extra functionalities, pages or templates, that won’t be a problem. However, you will be charged accordingly and these additional costs will need to be agreed to before the extra work commences. This additional work will affect deadlines and they will be moved accordingly. We’ll be up front about all of this if and when it happens to make sure we’re all on the same page before proceeding. We may also ask you to put requests in writing so we can keep track of changes. If the nature or functions of the project change significantly throughout the process, we reserve the right to deem the current project cancelled. At this point you will pay us in full for all the work we have done and may commission us to complete the new project based on the new requirements. This will require a new proposal and contract.

    Design:

    If we are designing your application we’ll create designs for the look-and-feel, layout and functionality of your web project. This includes one main design plus the opportunity for you to make up to two rounds of revisions, unless otherwise agreed in our contract. If you’re not happy with the designs at this stage, you will pay us in full for all of the work that we have produced until that point and you may either cancel this contract or continue to commission us to make further design revisions at our standard design rates.

After Lauched

  • Once your web project is launched, we will provide 30 days of support to make sure any bugs have been ironed out and that you are confident using your new website or applications. After this you will need to subscribe to one of our ongoing web maintenance plans to make sure your website is looked after and maintained. These website maintenance plans include updating your software, regular backups, security checks and making sure your website is online and open for business 24/7/365.

  • Provided you subscribe to one of our ongoing website maintenance plans, we will be your first point of contact should something go wrong with your website or web applications. We will determine whether it is something the hosting company needs to fix or something that is covered by your web maintenance plan. We will provide documentation or video tutorials to assist you in using your website once it is launched.

  • The effectiveness of your web project is largely depends on your content. You agree to provide us with everything that we’ll need to complete the project – including text, images and other information – as and when we need it and in the format we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback and approval in a timely manner too. Deadlines work two ways and you’ll also be bound by any dates that we set together. You also agree to stick to the payment schedule set out prior the start of project contract.

    We have the experience and ability to perform the services you need from us and we will carry them out in a professional and timely manner. Along the way we will endeavour to meet all the deadlines set but we can’t be responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved or signed off our work on-time at any stage.
